Oil Painting with Confidence

Beginner-intermediate level students will gain an understanding of composition, color, materials, methods. This class is for painters who would like to come paint with others in a friendly and supportive environment - designed for adults and high school students. A material list will be sent via email after registration.

Oil Painting with Style - Moving beyond the photo reference

Intended for beginner/intermediate students who have previously taken my Oil Painting with Confidence course OR already posses an understanding of color mixing theory and basic experience using oil painting materials. 

Build a painting from the ground up, infusing your own personal style into the composition. We will be starting with a reference photo of your choice, learning to design and edit what you see to find your own personal vision.

Beyond Art Studio | Washington, DC

Intro to Oil Painting

Beginner-level students will gain an understanding of composition, color, materials, methods. This is a small class in a beautiful studio/gallery space in the Palisades neighborhood in DC. Designed for new or limited experienced painters who would like to join a community and develop painting skills in a supportive environment. A material list will be sent via email after registration. This class will run for 6 weeks, one days per week.
